Digby Fairweather's Half Dozen is one of the UKs most exciting Jazz Bands. THE HALF DOZEN is constantly praised for its versatility, professionalism and showmanship. They have performed with co-stars including Van Morrison, Jacqui Dankworth The Swingle Singers and the y were regularly fronted my the amazing George Melly until his death in 2007.
The Half Dozen have appeared at all the major Jazz festivals, clubs and concerts countrywide, presenting a fusion of musical concepts with a strong vocal element. Close harmony is provided by four of the band members adding an exciting strand to the show. The groups aim is simple; to play great music, regardless of style, and entertain their audience.

The show stars the legendary Paul Jones ( The Manfreds, The Blues Band and Radio 2) and DIGBY FAIRWEATHER'S HALF DOZEN (four times winner of the British Jazz awards 'top small group' 2005, 2006, 2008 and 2009).

It combines Paul Jones' legendary hits - Doo Wah Diddy, Pretty Flamingo, I've Been a Bad Bad Boy and more with the riveting Jazz of Britains all star band Digby Fairweather's Half Dozen teaming with Paul to bring you the immortal songs of Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong, Louis Jordon and songs from the Great American Song Book.

Jacqui Hicks and Band
Since 1993 Jacqui has worked with the Jazz/funk band SHAKATAK both as vocalist and sax player. She appears on many of their albums including View From The City, Under Your Spell, Blue Savanah and MOBO nominated Live at Ronnie Scotts.
She is also a featured vocalist on Paprika Souls album, Into The Light.
